About Us

The Brockport Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is the only UU fellowship between Rochester and Buffalo with the exception of Pullman Memorial Universalist Church in Albion, NY.

BUUF serves Eastern Orleans, Eastern Genesee, and Western Monroe Counties with a population of over 150,000 people.

BUUF intends to make a difference promoting positive values and working with others to build a more healthy, happy, socially just community.

BUUF intends to be a harbor in the storm of life offering fellowship to the lonely, consolation to the grieving, solace to the afflicted, and hope to those despairing.

BUUF also intends to be a fellowship that celebrates life, shares joy, expresses gratitude, and blesses those with whom its people come into contact.

As of January, 2010 we are a group of about 30 adults and 10 children hoping to expand 50 or more by the end of a year.

We are looking for people who are:

  1.  looking for understanding, and support from people who have common values and dreams for a Beloved Community,
  2. and the desire to be of service to others,  and the community,  in building an organization which feeds the spiritually hungry and provides satisfaction and hope to those trying to live good lives.
