05/17/09 First Steering committee meeting at Java Junction at 10:00 AM with Penny and George Miller, Bonnie and Ron Beiswenger and David Markham. Don Zimmer had wanted to be there but had to work.

Rev. Peggy Meeker agrees to be BUUF’s “organizing minister. She offered to work “pro bono” for a few months.

Table at Brockport Sidewalk sale and invite people to our pancake breakfast. We hand out Frisbees with the BUUF web site info on it.

Inaugural gathering and pancake breakfast at Brockport Exempts, 248 West Ave., Brockport, NY 14420. Facility arranged by Jean Sauberan
This has become known as "Founders' Sunday" and is always celebrated with a pancake breakfast.

Meeting held for BUUF incorporation as a Religious Corporation in New York State.
It was announced that a Chalice Lighter's Grant for $8,000.00 has been awarded to BUUF for the coming fiscal year pending funds being available from Chalice Lighter's Fund Drive.

Charter Sunday held with 26 people signing the book and 8 more with registered intent but could not be present. Interim St. Lawrence District Executive, Connie Goodbread, gave the sermon entitled "Beginnings."
